History
Eastern Boiler Services was set up in 1997 by Ralph Dames and Jayson Scott seeing a need for boiler service work in Hawke’s Bay. Both Ralph and Jayson came from trades backgrounds but also qualified boiler operators.
Being both operators as well it gave another dimension to the company for both service work installation and operation. Early 2000’s EBS formed an association with Scotts Engineering of Christchurch for the supply of new Boilers and information and design sharing.
In 2005 EBS started using the ProFlame system developed by Prolec of Christchurch for combustion control and un-attended boiler systems With major growth and contracts Dave Goodgame joined the company in 2009 also with the ability to both service and operate boilers.
The next few years there were many interesting projects both here and in the Pacific Islands and at 15 years since forming some 60 boiler installation's had been completed. With wanting to provide further services we set up a valve servicing section for servicing and overhaul of boiler valves and safety and relief valves Also offering a certification service for relief and safety valves.
